You can find these decorative manhole covers at 10 locations inside the city with each manhole cover depicting important aspects of the Kure’s history and culture.
The manhole designs focus on specific Kure-based themes such as the battleship Yamato and Kure’s famous kinkarakami gold paper.
You can also pick up manhole cards at two locations – the ticket counter at the Irifuneyama Memorial Museum and the Machikado Shimin Gallery 90.
