“Mt. Noro” is recommended for mountain climbers.
Mt. Noro (839 meters above sea level) is the highest mountain in Kure and has a nice view of the Seto Inland Sea National Park. From the “Kabuto Iwa Lookout”, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the islands in the Seto Inland Sea and the Shikoku Mountains in the distance. From spring to early summer, cherry blossoms, azaleas, hydrangeas, daffodils, and other flowers bloom, and visitors can enjoy them.
Spring and autumn are recommended for mountain climbing. The “green course” mountain climbing map is recommended. In winter the road is sometimes frozen, so please use caution.
Wear comfortable clothing and shoes when mountain climbing.
