Stalls on Kuramoto Street

Kure Spot of Interest

In the twilight, Kuramoto Street is lined by stalls and illuminated by red lanterns. A wide range of food can be enjoyed, from typical street stall fare, such as ramen noodles and oden (various ingredients simmered in a soy sauce based soup), to originally created dishes. The street is popular among tourists and citizens.
Along the street azaleas are in bloom in spring and ginko trees turn yellow in fall, which harmonizes with the red brick colored sidewalk and makes lovely scenery.
The Nakadori Street nearby has long established shops and fashionable stores, so visitors can enjoy shopping and trying local sweets.
